Comfort kits containing practical and soothing items given to each patient starting cancer treatment at Hôpital du Haut-Richelieu. This thoughtful gesture embodies support, kindness and comfort during a difficult period in their lives.

A cancer wellness centre to provide support to persons affected by cancer, offering such services as massage therapy, oncology yoga, hair prothesis loans, kinesiology and an inviting atmosphere in which to chat, get information or enjoy a cup of coffee with a friend.

Organized therapeutic activities for users with mental health issues – to promote empowerment, foster social interactions, improve social skills and alleviate isolation.

Projet Tout doux, which aims to create a personalized environment for administering vaccinations, screening for infections or taking blood samples. The adapted environment is more suitable for providing care to children using tools and other means to prevent stress, anxiety and pain.

3000 oursons thérapeutiques Béké-Bobo qui seront remis aux jeunes patients âgés de 6 mois à 10 ans lors de leur passage à l’urgence de l’Hôpital du Haut-Richelieu, afin d’apaiser leur anxiété et leurs douleurs durant ces moments souvent empreints de stress.

Six lift chairs for the CHSLD Sainte-Croix day centre, allowing seniors to rest and stand up safely and independently. These additions promote wellbeing, increase participation in group activities, and reduce the risk of injuries for employees.

The Je cuisine pour ma famille project (“Cooking for my family”) gives families experiencing food insecurity the ingredients they need for healthy and nutritious meals as well as the use of cooking equipment and small appliances, while fostering parental skills.

Emergency assistance envelope for home support of vulnerable users, addressing their specific needs.

Funding for the equipment needed to add a second scanner at Hôpital du Haut-Richelieu, ensuring optimal access to scan exams and reducing wait times by enabling 7,300 additional exams per year.

Creation of 1,400 Programme Agir tôt reading kits for the families of newborns to strengthen the parent-child bond and encourage families to expose their child to reading from birth, making it a protective factor for language and cognitive development

Programme Hors-Piste: this program helps some 30 youths ages 12 to 17 combat anxiety disorders through such stress-inducing activities as rock-climbing or improvised immersive situations that push them to surpass their limits and develop their autonomy.

Addition of 6 wall-mounted vital sign monitors in the emergency outpatient area to optimize access and improve personnel efficiency while serving patients with greater precision, more quickly and safely, for better overall quality of care.

Mechanically assisted liposuction device for correcting certain deformities and asymmetries while reducing operating time on patients undergoing breast reconstruction as well as enabling more procedures.

A neuro-navigation system for ENTs that would optimize the precision of nasal and sinus surgery by guiding the surgeon in real-time, thus reducing the risk of complications, speeding up operations and avoiding the need for transfers to other specialist centres.

A bladder ultrasound scanner for removal of catheters directly at a CLSC, which facilitates access to treatment while freeing up 45 appointment slots per month at the Hôpital du Haut-Richelieu outpatient clinic.

New generation of BiliSoft phototherapy device to treat jaundice in newborns directly at home, avoiding the need for hospitalization and promoting emotional bonding, since the treatment can be carried out in the arms of parents or care staff.

Equipping midwives at Maison de naissance with a dozen portable ophthalmoscopes for complete examinations of newborns at home, thus saving families the travel time to community healthcare service

Realistic newborn intubation head for advanced neonatal resuscitation training and midwife instruction at the Maison de la naissance, ultimately helping to save a precious life in emergency situations.

Osteoarticular ultrasound device providing patients in the Haut-Richelieu region with access to musculoskeletal ultrasound expertise, without radiation, eliminating the need to travel to other centres and reducing wait times.

Five additional Holter monitors for continuous cardiac activity recording, thus expanding services for adult patients, and two pediatric Holter monitors to introduce this new service in Haut-Richelieu and prevent children from having to travel to Montréal or Sherbrooke for treatment.

The major project Bâtir Ensemble, intended to modernize the psychiatric unit to provide a dignified environment conducive to recovery for the 2,000 patients treated annually at Haut-Richelieu.
