Multisensory and motors games cart designed to entertain and engage emergency ward patients who are presenting cognitive issues, and installation of clocks (date and time) in stretcher areas to help clients keep track of time.

Conversion of the minor surgery room into a room adapted for pediatric patients, creating a distracting and cheerful environment; also, the addition of nitrous oxide equipment to manage pain and reduce the use of medication.

Deployment of Aire Ouverte outreach activities for vulnerable youths aged 12 to 25 who don’t or won’t seek help from existing services.

Creation of 14 instructional sheets developed for stroke patients and their families to make information available in a synthesized, simplified and pictorial form.

Exercise equipment to improve the quality of life and health of users of the halfway house, which is home to clients living with mental health problems.

Second gamma probe unit for the operating theatre at Hôpital du Haut-Richelieu. The device is used to detect breast cancer, thus reducing oncology surgery times and optimizing logistics management.

Butterfly ultrasound probe that enables midwives at Maison de naissance to assess an unborn baby’s position, thus avoiding the additional delays associated with waiting for an appointment to see a gynecologist.

A videonystagmography (VNG) device and a treatment table with required accessories to ensure greater precision in assessments of vestibular system dysfunction in patients (vertigo, dizziness, loss of balance, etc.).

Bilirubinometers for care teams visiting newborns at home, to improve the effectiveness of jaundice treatments while sparing parents the need to travel for an examination a few days after delivery.

Portable ultrasound device to optimize comfort and symptom management for users of the palliative care resource and avoid transportation to the hospital.

Addition of a urinary bladder scanner for the emergency ward of Hôpital du Haut-Richelieu to reduce wait times for bladder scans and improve care management.

Portable ultrasound machine to support the autonomy of elderly persons residing in an intermediary resource, reduce the duration of pain episodes, and prevent hospitalization and the need for strong analgesic medication.

Addition of a multi-purpose ultrasound scanner for the hospital’s medical imaging department to improve service flow and reduce the ultrasound waiting list.

Examination table for the post-natal care room at the CLSC Vallée-des-Forts to improve comfort for patients and their newborns and avoid waits for the availability of a room with an examination table.
